About
My work in foreign affairs is built upon a personal legacy of democratic resistance and the profound reverence for liberty instilled by my family's experience during the Cold War. This heritage drives my focus as a political scientist and strategic analyst, operating at the nexus of EU governance, international economy, and global security. My professional goal is to translate complex geopolitical dynamics into actionable, data-driven analysis for high-level decision-makers. My experience spans critical institutions including the European Parliament, the United Nations Association, and POLITICO, establishing a foundation in high-stakes policy environments and public diplomacy.
I drive impact by translating geopolitical complexity into tangible execution and high-level engagement. Key achievements include:
-
Narrated The Opinion of Others, a mission-defining film for Media Pioneer, demonstrating expertise in strategic communications.
-
Facilitated youth-policy dialogue with former Bundestag President Wolfgang Schäuble, showcasing high-level stakeholder management.
-
Modeled two-wave longitudinal survey data (n = 6,172) via multinomial logistic regression to disaggregate incumbency effects in the 2024 election.
Most recently, as a Parliamentary Policy Trainee in the Office of MEP Thomas Geisel in Brussels, I identified repayment-risk blind spots in EU financial planning, informing a letter to Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Strengthening Democratic Resilience and Civic Capacity
A core focus of my work has been strengthening civic capacity and democratic resilience through innovative public diplomacy initiatives and safeguarding the integrity of information ecosystems. This is where my operational execution meets my personal mission:
-
I secured €200,000 in capital to launch the English-language version of Ukrainska Pravda during the 2022 invasion, providing vital, independent information infrastructure during a time of crisis.
-
Additionally, I design and lead workshops for young professionals focused specifically on strengthening civic capacity and democratic resilience.
Currently, I lead a reparative public history research initiative using data-driven methods to examine institutionalized spatial segregation under the mentorship of Dr. Lisa Leitz, Chair of Peace Studies at Chapman University.
Bridging Policy Perspectives as a Woman in Foreign Affairs
At the core of all my work, as a woman in foreign affairs, is a deep-seated belief in the power of well-informed, inclusive policy to create more just and resilient societies. I am driven to contribute to the reform of international institutions by bridging the gap between European and American policy perspectives, ensuring that diverse voices, especially those of women and marginalized communities, shape the future of global security and democracy.
